In Stitches Greymouth

Are you looking for a friendly group to meet people and learn or practice a craft? In Stitches meets weekly and welcomes new members or visitors. We are a group of knitters, crocheters and other crafters who like to meet for friendship and to share ideas. Our skills range from beginners to experienced and we are happy to share our knowledge with each other.

In Stitches meet every Monday 10am – 12pm at Dash In Cafe at Tai Poutini Polytechnic. It’s free to attend, an optional gold coin donation helps cover our costs.

We have ideas, patterns, yarn, needles, help and inspiration available for all levels. We knit our own projects as well as items for the community such as baby clothes for hospitals, hats for school children, slippers, scarves, blankets and jerseys for community groups.

We gratefully accept donations of yarn, and unwanted needles/hooks/patterns, for our community projects. These can be left at Pins and Needles, 70 Mackay Street, Greymouth, who support our group.
