Ka Pou Whenua is a Kaupapa Māori telehealth service available to those aged 18 and older, experiencing low-moderate mental distress out of hours. This service is designed for Whaiora who may not meet the criteria to be seen by Crisis Services or Specialist Mental Health. Within Te Tai Poutini we work with our partner organisation Poutini Waiora.
We work between 3-9pm Monday to Friday to provide whanaungatanga when things get challenging after others have gone home.
