The West Coast Multicultural Council Te Tai o Poutini was set up to support newcomers, immigrants and refugees living on the West Coast. We are a non-profit organisation, and we organise activities that will enable different communities to stay connected and be part of the wider West Coast Community.
We can help:
- Finding support for problems you face
- Providing information on how to stay safe
- Providing information about emergency, health, and community services
- Helping migrant women make connections specially those who are isolated
- Organising wellbeing support
- Connecting with others in the community
- Celebrating our cultural diversity
Let’s celebrate cultural diversity and share our cultural background. Join our Multicultural food fairs, potlucks, coffee mornings, talks, workshops and more! All are welcome!
We are a member of Multicultural New Zealand and the New Zealand Newcomers Network which provide a web platform and support services to over 37 regional Newcomers Networks and 25 regional multicultural councils all over New Zealand.
