Our aim is to advance education by estabilishing, providing and maintaining facilities in summer and winter for school tution, learning and practice courses related to outdoor education activities, safety and other programmes in an alpine environment. To be beneficial to the community by promoting health through community participation in healthy sport and recreation. To encourage recreational skiing and snow-boarding, amateur ski and snow-board racing, touring exploration on skis or snow-board and the development of technical skills on skis and snow-board. To encourage walking, climbing, snow craft, mountain exploration and alpine sports. To promote good fellowship among mountainers and skiers and snow-boarders and foster a better knowledge of the mountains through literature, science and art.
